That's right after calling the Rapides Parish Coliseum home for 53 years; we are moving. Our new location will be on Hwy 71 South adjacent to the State Evac Shelter (sometimes called the Mega Shelter) past LSU-A. The Rapides Parish Fair will take place on October 8-12, 2014. Here are few of the changes you will see. The Shelter will house the exhibits and the annual Senior Citizen's Day on Friday. The livestock shows will be held in the Dewitt Livestock Facility next the to shelter. We know that visitors to the 2014 fair will still experience the many sights and sounds of the fair, from the food, spectacular rides and other entertainment, More information coming soon.
